Login to give Aces | | Wow, just a quick look at the activity shows us that Lapentti has not won a main draw ATP match on hard court since the Aussie Open 2007. Furthermore, the last time Lapentti won a hard court match against a player inside the top 50 was March of 2005 when he beat Karol Beck. Lapentti has had some injuries recently and Tursunov is so solid on the North American hardcourts, impossible for me to go against him here, even at the short odds. |

Tursunov was in good form last week in Indianapolis where he failed to defend his title at the last hurdle, falling in 2 sets to Gilles Simon. Broken down, If Tursunov turns up he will win. |

Login to give Aces | | Nice run by Tursunov in Indy, but came up short against a hotter opponent in Simon. He's won 65% of his matches in North America, and 69% on hardcourt in the last year. He should be too much for Lapentti, whose health is in question. Tursunov to advance easily. |

Login to give Aces | | Tursunov played superbly in Indianapolis recently to get to the final,coming back to beat Blake in the semis was a great result and with the courts to his liking provided he is on one of his good days,which if he is can be unplayable should account for clay court specialist Lapentitti. |
